Multiple Police Officers Shot In Douglas County Colorado

Authorities reported this Sunday there are several officers “down” after responding to an active shooting in an apartment complex located in the south of the city of Denver, Colorado.

Through their social networks, the authorities offered more details of what happened: they said that the officers responded to a domestic incident in the Copper Canyon apartments, located on County Line Rd, between Colorado Blvd and University Blvd.

“During the investigation there were shots and several agents were injured,” the message reads. “So far there are no details of the severity of their injuries, nor of the civilians that could be affected, so they ask residents to avoid the area.”

A red code was also issued for the affected area, so they ask residents to stay out of the area … and those who are already there, seek shelter and get away from the windows and exterior walls, just on the eve of the celebrations New year.
